Labour parliamentary candidate Anneliese Dodds and a number of other local Labour party activists have expressed their strong support for Unison’s ‘Million Voices’ campaign.
The Million Voices for Public Services campaign calls for investment and support for the people who provide public healthcare, education, housing and social services.
Anneliese said: "I'm a proud supporter of Unison's 'Million Voices' campaign to protect the public services we all rely on. Public services don't just matter to the most vulnerable - although they are crucial to protect the elderly and unwell.
Quality public services are also a key component of any civilised society, which believes that opportunities should not just flow from wealth, but be available to all".
